Last Thursday I had the opportunity to spend the day with my new amazing friend, Desiree. {There will be another blog post about her and other things we did that day, but I'm gonna focus this post on FieldHaven.} We attended the ribbon cutting event for FieldHaven's new shelter opening in Lincoln, CA. The facility is surrounded by some of the most gorgeous property I've seen, and the new building is just as beautiful. The areas the cats are kept in are simply awesome! The cats have a door that allows them to go indoors our outdoors as they please, colorful murals on their walls, cute decorations, soft beds and fun toys to play with. These kitties have the life!
The event was a fun success. There were tons of yummy food {always a plus in my book} and tons of happy people celebrating a good cause. Please visit their website and Facebook to find out more information!
