{Folsom Family Photographer}

Last Friday I photographed the wonderfully cool Stokes Family. We both recently moved to the Sac area, so I was very happy to meet them! While Sally and I were getting to know each other before her family session, I discovered that she used to live in Rexburg, ID. I used to live in a teeny tiny town called Tetonia not too far from from there. I get so excited when I meet someone who has lived in the same area as me. Idaho was the most beautiful place I have ever been and loved living there as a young girl. I love sharing stories about that time in my life! Anyway, I digress... So the Stokes are super sweet. Sally and Jacob met while they both attended BYU and married a few years later. Skip to now, and they have an adorable little one-year-old named Jayden. We had a fun time playing and running around trying to take pictures on that beautiful afternoon. =]

I asked them to dance for me. They were a little hesitant at first, but I think this triptych is adorable!

    I like the 8th one....the one with Jayden clapping and Jake and Sally making silly expressions. So cute! What a great photographer!

    I Love them all but my favorite is the one where Jayden is throwing a fit. Their reactions on Sally and Jake's faces are priceless! You did a great job!!! Just so you know Idaho (aka Wilford/Rexburg area) had snow yesterday.....thought you would want to know since you sounded a little homesick. Maybe that will make you feel better. This morning there was ice everywhere and only 28 degrees. ;) Oh and I forgot to mention the INSANE wind that comes along with Idaho Springs. I had to chase one of my kids down yesterday so they wouldn't fly away. Good times! :) At least this means summer IS coming and you CAN'T beat Idaho summers! EVER!!

    Oh my goodness these are SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!! The second one of Jayden is WAY WAY adorable, but I think my fav is the black and white of just Sall and Jake because Sally looks GORGEOUS! (and I guess Jake looks pretty good, too.) :)

    The other Grandma says...."Such an adorable family. I, too, want every picture, but the one I want on my wall is a "quiet moment" PLUS I want a big one of Jayden, #2. Such fun photos"!!
