{wurmlinger family}

The Wurmlingers were my last family session before Christmas. Rachel was referred to me by Aimee, whom I shot a month or so previously {an adorable family, I must say!}. After finding out about Rachel, her family, how she and her hubby Jeff met, what they do for a living, I was greatly anticipating meeting them all! They seemed like they were going to be such a cool family... and they were! Rachel and Jeff are a great pair and great parents to Harper and Easton. And omg, Harper and Easton! Two cute kids for sure. Harper is still a wee one at 6 months old and has some darling chubby cheeks {a weakness of mine}. Easton's a bit older at 2 and a 1/2 and is one free-spirited and independent boy. As usual, I had a fantastic time getting to know the Wurmlingers and capturing their charming family on camera.

Check out those gorgeous eyes and chubby cheeks!

Don't ya just wanna squeeze her?!

Playin' with Thomas the Train =]

Harper's look is classic! Lol!

{kelly, joe & jared}

Kelly and I first met the day I shot the Event for Valerie back in October. I noticed her enthusiastically dancing in the front row as I photographed the event. She seemed very motivated, determined and was a great dancer! She ended up coming  to my booth after the event and we discussed doing a family session together. Fast-forward to a couple months later and we got together mid-December for that session! We started at her home where I met her cool boyfriend, Joe, and her sweet son, Jared. I snagged some shots of Jared playing the piano {he's amazing, btw} before we headed out to the river. It was fun shooting in that area, but we decided to finish up the session at a local waterfall not too far from their home. These three are super sweet and are a good lil' family. =] Hopefully I will be able to meet up with Kelly and her family again!

Jared practicing his skills in preparation for swooning the ladies when he's older. =]

Just the boys!

These two are a great match for each other.

I loooved this spot down by the river.

What a good lookin' trio!

Future heart breaker, I'm telling ya.

{blake & bradley}

 I was very excited to meet Blake and Bradley because Blake is my cousin Dominic's sister. We met up at a popular spot down town to get some Christmas pictures. I gotta tell you, it was love at first sight with Bradley. Mohawk, plaid shirt and a coy smile? Swoon! He and his momma are such an adorable family and it's like they are best buddies! Bradley likes to give Blake a hard time for sure! He also like to run, run and run. Omg, did I get a workout during this session. It was such a blast chasing this little dude around, making him laugh and also capturing some sweet moments between mother and son. Love it! =]

Bradley running. As usual! =]

I'm gonna getcha!

Sweetness.

{mcmillan family}

I could not deny the fact that I was nervous to shoot this family. For a couple of reasons. One, I am always kinda nervous to do portraits for people I know. I don't know and could not tell you why, but I simply am. Well,  my husband and I have known Liz since our days in high school. We all went to good ol' HHS together way back when. Another fun fact: I co-second shot for a local professional photographer for the first time with Liz {which was also a long time ago.} Which brings me to reason to reason number two of why I was nervous, Liz is also a photographer. Double whammy! Pow! Anyway, once we started shooting, it was nothing but fun. Liz is just such a sweet person and so is Andy. Oh, and don't get me started on how adorable baby Maxine is! Wow, what a doll! This ended up being one of my favorite shoots from the holiday season for more than one reason. They turned out so beautifully, thanks primarily for such wonderful subjects. Feast your eyes on these beauties!

Maxine looks like an angry lil' birdie and I love it!

*Heart*

Liz is one beautiful mother.

{shultz family}

Yay! I got to work with one of my favorite families again, the Shultzs! We got together for a Christmas mini session at one of my favorite spots and had some fun. Here are a few faves from that evening.

Sophya says "hello!"

Love, love, love that adorable little face.

Isn't this a good looking family?!

{patterson family}

I was lucky enough to have one of my amazing families (the Kolletts) refer me another amazing family, the Pattersons and come to find out, the two mamas are sisters! Fun stuff! I loved working with the Kolletts, so I was really excited to work with the Pattersons. Upon first seeing this adorable family and meeting all 3 of their little boys, I knew we were gonna have a good time. Sarah and Mike are so kind, humble, and warmhearted. Their boys were sweet, polite, adorable, fun and silly! I think we all had a good time getting to know each other, sharing tips on getting pregnant ;) and getting some good ol' fashioned family pictures.

I just wanna pinch Zachary's chubby cheeks!

Oh.my.goodness. Look at this little cutie.

Love Samuel's laugh in this one :D

Luke's sense of humor was just too funny.

One silly pic for the boys.....

.....and one calm pic for mom and dad =]

Check out the height difference! I love it!
